The Brexit opportunities minister said in April 2022 that implementing the government’s Brexit deal in full “would have been an act of self harm”. 

The government has also planned to rewrite the Northern Ireland protocol (part of the post-Brexit trading agreement) prompting the EU to say that the move would break international law. 

One 2019 manifesto pledge was not to raise taxes. The government broke their promise and raised taxes to their highest level in 70 years.

 Johnson’s farewell address to the British people from Downing Street, true to form, contained one lie after another. As this website proves, his government has repeatedly broken manifesto commitments.
