Facts
Then Chancellor Rishi Sunak issued a statement calling on UK firms to stop investing in Russia in order to help "inflict maximum economic pain."
Sunak made this call as the Indian IT company Infosys continued to operate in Russia; a company that Sunak's wife, Akshata Murty, holds a 0.91% stake in worth £690m and that rewards her with £11.5m in annual dividends. This led to criticism.
In April, Infosys announced that it was transitioning out of Russia.
Eight months later, the company is still operating from Russia, after saying it was pulling out.
