Rishi Sunak is registered with a private GP practice that charges £250 for a half-hour consultation and, unlike most public practices, is able to offer appointments both in the evenings and at weekends. 

Verdict

Fair enough for Rishi Sunak to tell the CBI that the NHS was “in my blood” given that his father was a GP working for the NHS. He omitted to tell the CBI the pertinent information that he is registered with a private GP practice that charges £250 for a half-hour consultation and, unlike public practices, is able to offer appointments both in the evenings and at weekends. 

We emailed Rishi Sunak’s office and Downing Street offering them the chance to respond. The email was received, but no reply.
