But @38degrees told journalist Paul Waugh that at least 16 of her constituents have emailed her office to express disgust at partygate and PM's conduct. 

One constituent, Anna said: “I lost my sister during the lockdown. She has three children, and only one was able to sit by her hospital bed as she lay dying. My sister and I were unable to say goodbye to her. I cannot express how devastating this was, that she couldn’t see us all for a final time. We abided by the lockdown laws. It revolts me that Tories see fit to disregard these laws.” 

Verdict

Nadine Dorries’ claim that she had not spoken ‘to a single constituent that is angry’ may have been true.  However there is no reason to doubt the claim from 38 Degrees that at least 16 of Nadine Dorries’ constituents emailed her office to express disgust at partygate and PM's conduct. Perhaps Ms Dorries does not read her emails.

We approached Ms Dorries’ office and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport for comment, but received no reply.
