Liz Truss followed the example of Boris Johnson and failed to note that during the twelve years that the Conservative Party has been in power, there have been no new nuclear power stations completed. 

Verdict

This statement pointed the finger of blame at the lack of progress on nuclear energy by Labour, but did not draw attention to the inaction of her own Conservative government over the last 12 years. Disingenuous.
