Justice Secretary Dominic Raab was doubtless correct to state that he has seen Boris Johnson wear a mask. There have been instances when Johnson has observed guidelines and worn a mask. There have also been cases when he hasn’t. His claim that Johnson was “very conscientious about the guidelines” is wholly untrue. There are numerous examples of Johnson breaching Coronavirus guidelines. 

We approached Mr Raab’s office and the No 10 Press Office to give them a chance to comment, but received no response.

Verdict

The Justice Secretary falsely  claimed that Boris Johnson was“very conscientious about the guidelines.” He was thus showing contempt for Sky News viewers. This was yet another example of ministers sacrificing their own integrity by making false claims about Boris Johnson.
