Sunak was answering questions about the tax affairs of Nadhim Zahawi after a report that the Tory chairman had paid back millions of pounds in tax to settle a dispute with HM Revenue & Customs. Verdict

Nadhim Zahawi had not “already addressed this matter in full” The Prime Minister was misleading MPs. Since he has not returned to Parliament to formally correct the record he is in breach of the Ministerial Code. 

We emailed Rishi Sunak’s office and Downing Street offering them the chance to respond. The email was received, but no reply.
