Four days later Chancellor Rishi Sunak asked Boris Johnson to commission an enquiry into his financial arrangements. 

Verdict

If Lord Geidt, independent adviser on ministerial interests, had already confirmed he was happy - as the Times reported -  what was this Geidt enquiry about?

When we approached the Treasury for comment, a spokesperson questioned our credentials as a “bona fide media outlet”. We also approached Lord Geidt’s office but received no response.
