The Cabinet Office minister, Oliver Dowden, defended expletive-laden texts sent by Williamson as sent “in the heat of the moment” after a bullying complaint against him.

The texts were sent over a five week period from 13 September to 17 October. 

Verdict 

Williamson's texts were sent over a five week period -  ie not sent in the heat of the moment as Oliver Dowden insisted. 

We emailed Oliver Dowden and Gavin Williamson’s office offering them the chance to respond. The email was received by both, but no reply.
