Nadine Dorries made this remark as she defended Boris Johnson after he had received a fixed penalty notice for a breach of Covid regulations. She provided no evidence to support her claim that “lots of Prime Ministers” have received fixed penalty notices. 

Verdict

We wrote to Nadine Dorries asking her to provide evidence to support her claim. She did not reply.  So we wrote again making the same request. Still no reply.
